Show for young audiences: Pinocchio, le Kikirga

The Centre Culturel de Dison welcomes you to its children's play ‘Pinocchio, le Kikirga’, an African-style version of Pinocchio, created in Ouagadougou and finished in Beauvechain!

Pinocchio le Kikirga is the result of a meeting between the Théâtre des 4 Mains and the Théâtre Soleil in Ouagadougou. It's a joyful, musical, danceable and colourful show that juggles the cards of this well-known tale, which tells the story of this flawed child puppet, full of weaknesses but terribly endearing, who is manipulated by everyone he meets. Told by the griot ‘Koné’, accompanied by two Burkinabé singer-musicians, and performed by African and Belgian actors and puppets of all sizes, it takes us to West Africa with a critical look at today's world and the way it is shared out between peoples.
