Rondleiding in french : Clay hands parcours in Verviers

The Maison du Tourisme du Pays de Vesdre and the Régie de Quartier d'Ensival invite you to discover a new commemorative trail, ‘Le Parcours des Mains d'argile’, through a guided tour to be held on Sunday 6 October 2024. 

The tour will highlight a solidarity initiative undertaken by local artist Lina Villanucci during the floods of July 2021. Lina chose to act in her own way by shaping clay hands, symbols of resilience and solidarity. These hands of the people of Verviers will be laid out along the Vesdre in ten stages.

The guided tour (by an AGAV tourist guide) will mark the official launch of this unique route, whose brochure will subsequently be available at the Maison du Tourisme du Pays de Vesdre. We hope to see many of you there for this afternoon of remembrance and discovery!

Practical information:

- Date and time: Sunday 6 October 2024 at 2pm

- Departure point: Hôtel de Ville d'Ensival, Grand'Place - Linear route ending in the Pré-Javais district (finishing around 4pm)

- Participation is free but registration is compulsory
