Mont de Lambert" belonged to the Duchy of Limbourg, the Seigneurie des Rechains in its southern part. It served as a "porous" border with the Marquisate of Franchimont. Its overhanging position predestined it for the manor houses and other castles of the notables of Verviers. We'll be following in the footsteps of the past as we observe the effects of modern urbanisation.
