AGAV guided walk: Getting out of your hole to look for some light (E. Angenot)

Staircases may inspire poets, but they are mainly used to climb slopes. Very early on, bridges and footbridges were built across the Vesdre and staircases appeared on the steep slopes of the hill. The stairways on the right bank are more rustic and steeper than those on the left bank, but offer some fine panoramic views.
